A traveller Experience:
Like most of Southern Iran, Hormuz has a 'siesta' time during the middle of the day. Between around 2pm and 5pm you will see very few people out in the streets and most shops will be closed. Hormuz felt safe even at night and people were very friendly and welcoming.
