Can You Touch The Parthenon?
Absolutely do not touch, stand on or sit on the ruins. There are areas where you can rest that aren't made of ancient marble. You'll probably notice the guards standing around the site, particularly up by the Parthenon. You'll hear them, too, if someone touches something they aren't supposed to touch.
