If you're from the EU, you simply need to get a NIE (NĂºmero de Identidad de Extranjero or Foreigner's Identification Number) to legally work in Spain. On the other hand, if you are from a non-EU country, you need a work visa. For this, you'll need a job contract with a Spanish employer and other documents.
