How can I find a new pen pal ?
My family is from Ireland and I think it’d be really cool to have a friend from Ireland! The problem is, I don’t really know how to go about this. I had a penpal in like 6th grade from Australia or something for a project in my english class and we pretty much picked a random school from a list and sent our letter and the principal of that school gave it to a student.
I really wanted to send my letter to Ireland but my teacher wouldn’t let me. And it wasn’t all that great anyway because we had topics that we had to write about and the letters were graded so my penpal never wrote back because my letters were boring haha. So anyway, I was just curious about how I should do this…I don’t really want to use a website or whatever just because I don’t know how safe or legit they are.
I’ll be your penpal if you like. I’m Irish, although I live in London since last year. . Alternatively you can add me on facebook, type in my email address in the search bar or else my name (Martin Burns Jr.).
